The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities, also known as The Fairhaven Program, has served residents of Trumbull County with developmental disabilities for over 50 years. We provide services such as employment, education and training to those individuals living with developmental disabilities. Today, we provide services to approximately 1,200 individuals in Trumbull County.
The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has received the highest level of accreditation (the maximum three years) by CARF International for the following services:
Community Employment Services: Employment Supports, Community Employment Services: Job Development, and Employment Planning Services.
CARF accreditation is a public seal of trust and commitment to quality based on internationally accepted standards. Achieving this accreditation demonstrates Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ commitment to exceptional, personalized care. An organization receiving the highest level of CARF accreditation has undergone a detailed peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors, during an on-site visit, its commitment to providing programs and services of the highest quality.
