Fairhaven School
Fairhaven School is operated by the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Our mission is to provide enriching experiences that benefit both children and their families. This program focuses on nurturing growth and development, encouraging independence, and helping children reach their fullest potential.
Program Details
Fairhaven Preschool caters to children aged 3 to 5, including those who are part of an individualized education program (IEP) as well as those who are not. It operates as a full-day integrated program, running five days a week, except during designated holidays or program days off.
Fairhaven School serves students between the ages of 5 years to 21 (Option 23) & is dedicated to delivering quality education and meaningful experiences for all students. We motivate our students to achieve substantial progress in their developmental, academic, and personal skills, enhancing their self-confidence and overall well-being.
Enrollment Process
All students join Fairhaven as Bulldogs through referrals from their local school districts, in collaboration with parent input and requests. The school provides services tailored to their individualized education programs based on their specific needs, aligned with the Ohio Academic Content Standards Extended.
