- Teacher
We have an opening for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond for a TEACHER in our Fairhaven school-age program. Responsibilities include providing instruction to students with developmental disabilities in approved or adapted curriculum areas, developing and implementing daily lesson plans consistent with students’ Individual Education Plans and the general education curriculum guidelines, maintaining classrooms conducive to learning, and conducting conferences with parents/guardians or other personnel. Ideal candidates must have, or be in the process of obtaining, licensure from the Ohio Department of Education as an Intervention Specialist K-12 Moderate /Intensive.
- Full-Time School Bus Aides
We have an excellent opportunity in its program for Bus Aides. Successful candidates must have an interest in working with persons with disabilities and will be guaranteed 20 hours of work per week for the 2023-2024 school year. Paid training provided. Full-time 9-month hourly wage starts at $17.65. Benefit package includes excellent medical, vision and dental insurance with paid sick leave and a pension at retirement. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a per-employment drug test, physical, Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry background check.

Substitute Employment Available
We are accepting applications for qualified candidates to provide the following substitute services on an as needed, flexible schedule basis:
- Substitute Teachers
We have an excellent opportunity for qualified applicants to provide substitute teaching services to students with developmental disabilities. Candidates chosen will work as needed in the absence of regular Teachers and will follow approved curriculum areas. Will be required to obtain/maintain appropriate substitute teaching credential from the Ohio Department of Education. Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Special Education required. Substitute Rate: $23.50 per hour. Paid training provided. - Substitute Classroom Assistants
We have an excellent opportunity for qualified applicants to provide in-class assistance to Teachers on an as-needed basis during the school year. Shall hold or be in the process of obtaining appropriate Educational Aide certification from the Ohio Department of Education. High School diploma or GED required. Substitute Rate: $16.00 per hour. Paid training provided.
- Substitute Bus Drivers
Successful candidates must be dependable, must have an interest in working with persons with disabilities, and will work on an as-needed basis. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B, with S & P endorsements required. Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr. - Substitute Bus Aides
Successful candidates must have an interest in working with persons with disabilities. Paid training provided. High school diploma or GED required. Substitute rate: $15.50 per hour. - Substitute Nurses
Successful candidates will work in our school and will be responsible for providing health and wellness services for students with disabilities. Current and valid State of Ohio Nursing License required. Substitute rate: RN: $25.00 per hour; LPN: $21.00 per hour.
- Substitute Cook Assistants
We have an excellent opportunity for Substitute Cook Assistants in our School program. Candidates chosen will fill in for full-time employees on an as needed basis during the school year. Hours of work are generally between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Responsibilities include assisting students scheduled to work in the kitchen, helping kitchen staff as needed, and preparing and cleaning work area and equipment. Hourly rate of pay: $13.00.
- Substitute Clerical
Ideal candidates will provide clerical assistance in a variety of office settings. Must type 50 wpm and have working knowledge of computers and office practices and procedures. High school diploma or GED required. Substitute rate: $16.00 per hour. - Substitute Custodians
Candidates chosen must be dependable, will work on an as-needed basis, and will be subject to 8-hour shift assignments. Responsibilities include routine custodial duties involved in maintaining a clean building. Substitute rate: $15.50 per hour.
